CMSI Tartan Shop
The Tartan Shop is currently under construction. Since taking over the management of the Shop, Alice Plummer and Jan Weller have been hard at work trying to determine what inventory was really available, where it was, and in what condition it was. One of the things they quickly ascertained was that keeping a large inventory of items was not practical, and too many problems came with trying to keep track of it all. In the past, Region VPs were given items to sell at the games, and there was confusion over what was sold and what was still available in the hands of the VPs. Unfortunately, stuff just walked off at some of the games — those tents are busy places. Now, Alice and Jan are researching ways to make the items available to members without having it all sit on shelves in closets or in the basements of the Tartan Shop managers. One of the possibilities is selling items via the Internet and the use of other vendors on the Web who would handle merchandise exclusively pertinent to Clan Montgomery. While this process is being examined, Alice and Jan have put together some particular items that they will carry until the details can be worked out with other vendors. Those items are described below.
