CMSI Newsletter Guidelines
My name is Michelle Montgomery Palmer and I am the latest editor of the CMSI newsletter, The Gardien. I receive and coordinate the material submitted by our members and assemble the material for printing. The Gardien and I need YOUR input. Please send stories, photographs, poetry, essays, etc. pertaining to Clan Montgomery and the people who make up our extended family. Marriages, Flowers of the Forest, babies, promotions, armed service news, highland games news, historical info or any other items you might think might be of interest.
The newsletter comes out quarterly and deadlines for article submissions and pictures are| Spring | - March 15 |
| Summer | - June 15 |
| Fall | - September 15 |
| Winter | - December 15 |
I am happy to take items whenever you have them ready so please send as soon as you have something, don't wait until the deadline.
You can always mail a paper copy to me if you would rather not use email. You may attach a photograph(s) to an email, or you may send a printed photograph(s) to me. Please let me know if you want your printed photographs returned.
The black and white newsletter goes to the printer on or about the first of the month due; January, April, July and October. The printing and mailing process takes about a week. The actual delivery of the newsletter is dependent on the U.S. Postal Service, and third class mail doesn't have a high priority.
Or you can contact me directly to receive an emailed pdf file of the newsletter. I will be sending the pdf version within a few days of sending out the files for the print version.
