Homer Montgomery

Looking for a "Montgomery Mystery Man" in the Tuscaloosa/Pickens (metro Tuscaloosa) Alabama area. Homer Montgomery (unknown birth info - circa 1880). Married (circa 1910) Naomie Hinton born in Tuscaloosa County, AL 1888-1953. I have hit the proverbial brick wall. The name Homer might be a nickname. He served in Europe during WWI. Returned to Tuscaloosa/Pickens AL areas after WWI and died circa 1920-1930.

Any info greatly appreciated.

John James Montgomery

I am looking for any information on my great grandfather, John James Montgomery, who served in WWI in Aldershot, England. He married Grace Montgomery, and had a son William James Montgomery, born April 11, 1916. I believe he might have had one sister. My great grandmother might have been a nurse from Canada. In 1917, she came back to Canada to reside in Barrie, Ontario and surrounding areas. This is where she died in 1924. My grandfather later died in 1988.
