  . Per an e-mail dated 4/06/2000, David C. Montgomery, CMS# 1824, states that he does NOT agree that this Samuel Montgomery was the son of Samuel Montgomery and Magdalena Shook. His data indicates that their son Samuel was born in 1807-08. He has corresponded with the submitter of this information, Karlene B. Santabanez, CMS# 1178, and she says her only proof is that there is a Samuel Montgomery born in 1801 listed in the IGI compiled by the Church of LDS (Mormon).
