Lipp Cemetery

ÒAfter an illness of only a week, Mrs. Mary E. HARMON
died at her home near Sidney, Oct. 19, 1916. Mary E.
MONTGOMERY was born in Sullivan County on May 7,1857,
and departed this life October 19,1916, being at the
time of her death 59 years, 7 months and 10 days old.
She was united in marriage to Redmond P. HARMON in
1875. To this union were born Kalaska, George, James,
Henry, Thomas, Beda, Emma, Alice, Anna, Francis, Inez
and Minnie, the latter having died about four years
ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her
husband and children, four borthers and four sisters,
17 grandchildren and a host of friends.
She was a very loving mother and a good wife, an
honest neighbor and a friend in need. The funeral
services were held at the house Oct. 20 and were
conducted by Rev. E.E. VESTAL who delivered a
comforting sermon, after which the processsion of
teams followed the body to the Lipp cemetery where itwas laid to rest.Ó
