Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Russell Howard, 91, of Fort Jesup,Louisiana, were held Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2:00 p.m., at Fort Jesup,Mormon Church, Fort Jesup, LA Officiating was Elder Johnny Cobert, andElder Wallace Potter. Burial was in Fort Jesup Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard died Monday, Jan. 13, at Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville,LA
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Howard, and herparents, Wiley R. and Margaret Ann Gibson Russell.
She is survived by one son, Douglas Howard of Many; three daughters,Doris Harvey of Leesville, Dorothy Edwards of Fenton, and Dottie Boone ofIowa, LA; one brother, Jessie O. Russell of Fort Jesup; one sister,Beatrice Snider of Fort Jesup; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen greatgrandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Ralph Russell, Wallace Potter, Terry Foster, AlbertHardy, Thomas Coburn, and Kenneth Coburn.
