Obituaries: Samson Craig, Sabine, Natchitoches Parish, Sabine Index,Many, LA 30 May 1968 - Samson Craig, 86, died May 24, after an extended illness. Survivor include, three sons, Eston, Dempsey, and Curtis Craig, all ofVowells Mill, three daughters, Mrs. G. W. Sharp, and Mrs. Lee Sharp bothof Vowells Mill and Mrs. Willie Honeycutt of Bellwood, one sister, Mrs.Alice Norsworthy of Natchitoches; 13 grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25, at Hickory Grove Baptistchurch, with the Rev. Hamp Newton, officiating. Interment was in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Clayton Honeycutt, Donald Wayne Sharp, Harmon Craig,Nerman Sharp, Kenneth Craig and Ronald Craig.
