Notes - Vegdegg, or Vecta, who lived about 364 A.D. was the ancestor of the
Kings of East Anglia and the Kings of Kent. From Vegdegg were
descended the French kings, the Suevic chiefs Henqist and Horsa, who
led the Saxon invasion of England in 455, and the Swedish kings.
His son, our ancestor, was Sigear, or Sigge, ancestor of the French
kings.
