• Notes

  According to correspondence from a lawyer and a real estate brokerage house in New York City, Mary Ellen is descended from one Benjamin Cornish, who bought some property in Newtown, New York in 1695. There is a pedigree chart and a set of family group sheets that show this, somewhere in the archives of New York. I am presently (Apr 1990) trying to locate this proof. Submitted by Warren C.
