!MARRIAGE: Betty Cooper..Anna Bromley Busch told Betty Cooper in May 1990that Charlie and Effie Bromley and their five children plus Dick Gentry, Carol Putnam and Pink Holbert went from Throckmorton, TX to Los Animas Coloradoin two covered wagons and Hack (Surrey) horses and old dog Jack. They moved from Texas because of Charlie's health (She said he had gallbladdertrouble). Virgil took turns riding and driving the wagon. The trip took 6 weeks(from 1 March to 15 April) The children's ages were from 4 to 17. Effie drove the Surrey with Anna in it all the way.
