    • "Frank spent two years in Geneva, Ohio as a young man and on his 20th birthday
      in 1876 in Geneva married Emma Amidon of North perry ( an Ohio town a few miles
      west of Geneva), daughter of Lucius P. and Anna (Joes) Amidon.
      Amidon is a name
      with French Huguenot origins; don't know about Joes, but Cousin Dorothy Bennet
      Root says Anna was a direct descendentof Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, hero of
      the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie."--From Letter by James Montgomery of Atlanta,
      dated October 1993 to his kin and family.
